The plant belongs to blackberries, not to blackberry-raspberry hybrids. The stems of the variety have a tendency to lodge in the first year of life, and become erect in the second year. The variety is distinguished by high winter hardiness.
The fruits are large, round in shape, glossy black in color, with a pleasant taste. The berries are less prone to reddening after harvest and during transport compared to other varieties of its time. It belongs to mid-season varieties.
