Variety description

10 August 2026

Plant type — dewberry (trailing blackberry) with flexible canes 3–5 meters long, covered with sharp thorns. Leaves are palmate, consisting of 3–5 leaflets; young leaves sometimes have a yellowish tint. The plant requires the installation of trellises and tying up of canes.

Berries have an elongated conical shape, reaching 4–5 cm in length and a weight of 10–11 g; they have a firm consistency and a dessert taste with a raspberry-blackberry aroma. Fruiting is extended, lasting up to 2 months, and the yield is up to 12–15 kg per bush.

The variety possesses resistance to gray mold and downy mildew, but is sensitive to root rots on heavy soils. Winter hardiness is low; fruit buds and canes are damaged at temperatures below -16…-17 °C, therefore, covering for the winter is required.
