Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a typical blackberry, developed in 1975 from a cross between Arkansas Selection 526 and Rosborough. The plant forms erect bushes with stiff, thorny canes that have good growth vigor.

The berries have a round-oval shape, an average weight of about 5 g, and a moderately sweet taste. A distinctive feature of the fruit is its very small seeds. The variety is suitable for manual and machine harvesting, and the firmness of the berries allows for short-distance transport.

The plant possesses resistance to anthracnose and orange rust. Despite the erect bush type, it is recommended to grow the crop on a trellis for ease of maintenance and harvesting.
