Variety description

10 August 2026

The Black Thornfree bush is characterized by vigorous development and a semi-trailing growth habit. The canes are completely thornless and can reach a length of 3 to 6 meters. Flowering is accompanied by the appearance of light pink flowers.

The variety is classified as late-ripening, with the fruiting period occurring in August–September. The berries have a violet-black color, a glossy surface, and a weight of 5–7 grams. The taste of the fruit is assessed as sweet-and-sour, dessert-type.

The plant possesses resistance to major fungal diseases, however, in regions with severe climates, it requires mandatory winter covering. The harvest is suitable for fresh consumption, freezing, and various types of industrial processing.
