Bushes of the Navaho variety form erect canes devoid of thorns, which facilitates harvesting. Despite the strength of the stems, the use of supports is recommended due to the significant weight of the berries. The plant's frost resistance is about -20 °C, which requires covering in regions with harsh winters.

The fruits have a short-conical shape, a glossy surface, and a dark blue, almost black color. The berry weight is from 4 to 7 g. The variety is late-maturing; the fruit ripening period lasts from August to September. The produce has high transportability and is suitable for fresh consumption and processing.
