The variety is a blackberry (Rubus fruticosus L. agg.), often classified as Rubus armeniacus. It is used as a fruit crop for fresh consumption and processing, as well as an ornamental plant for hedges.

The plant is vigorous and spreading, forming powerful shoots from 1.5 to 3 meters long, covered in strong thorns. Cultivation on trellises or supports is recommended. The berries are black, shiny, medium-sized, round or conical in shape, and have a sweet taste and firm flesh.

The variety belongs to the late-maturing group; the harvest is collected from the end of July to October. The plant possesses good winter hardiness and sufficient disease resistance.
