Autumn Cascade belongs to everbearing raspberry varieties. The variety is known as one of the parental components for the development of the everbearing variety Autumn Treasure.
Scientific research on the variety conducted in Canada and Portugal concerned the influence of pruning and wind loads on productivity. It was established that the optimal pruning intensity for obtaining a yield in protected cultivation is 20 nodes, and the use of windbreaks increases yield and cane biomass.
The variety is mentioned in the context of scientific research on resistance to root rot caused by Phytophthora fragariae var. rubi.
