The variety was obtained by crossing Norna and Malling Jewel varieties. It is a floricane variety that produces fruit on second-year canes. Under temperature conditions of 18 °C, it is capable of floral induction.

The dark red berries have a soft consistency and a soluble solids content of about 8.9%. The quercetin content reaches 1.55 mg per 100 g of weight. The bush forms a significant number of root suckers; the yield is approximately 335 g per cane.

The fruits do not drop upon ripening, which makes the variety suitable for mechanical harvesting. Studies have revealed the presence of raspberry leaf spot virus in the plants.
