ActiveRubus idaeus L. · Red raspberry
Vinson Peter Edward
10 August 2026
The variety belongs to the summer-bearing types, producing fruit on biennial canes. Plants possess vigorous growth with moderate bush height; the canes are practically thornless.
Berries are medium-sized, bright red, and glossy, with good flavor. The fruits are intended primarily for fresh consumption; suitability for freezing is assessed inconsistently.
The variety possesses good winter hardiness. Immunity to raspberry mosaic virus and tolerance to spur blight are noted; however, susceptibility to late leaf rust is observed.
