ActiveRubus idaeus L. · Red raspberry
Vinson Peter Edward
10 August 2026
The variety is a summer-bearing raspberry, which is a mutation of the Zefa 2 variety. The bush forms a medium or large number of medium-length or long canes, which are slightly drooping. The color of the canes in the upper part is purple-brown, in the lower part — gray, with cracking bark. The main feature is the complete absence of thorns on the stems.
The fruits are dark in color and round in shape, characterized by a pleasant aroma and moderate firmness. Flowering occurs from late May to early June. The variety shows resistance to certain viral diseases and is suitable both for fresh consumption and for culinary processing.
