Diamond Jubilee
ActiveRubus idaeus L. · Red raspberry
Vinson Peter Edward
10 August 2026
Everbearing variety with a fruiting period from mid-August to mid-October. The plant forms a compact bush 0.5 to 1.5 meters high. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness, the ability to withstand temperatures below -20°C, and good foliage viability.
The berries are red, large, possess aroma, and are easily detached from the receptacle, which simplifies harvesting. The variety is self-fertile. The plant develops well in aerated, enriched, and slightly acidic soils; in hot summer conditions, partial shade is preferable.
For maintenance, it is recommended to cut back the canes that have fruited to the ground at the end of winter. When planting, it is optimal to leave 7–10 young shoots per meter of row. The variety is suitable for cultivation in gardens and in containers.
