The bush is of medium vigor, upright. Annual shoots acquire a reddish hue in the upper part by autumn, becoming light brown in the second year. Shoots are weakly prickly, with spines located primarily in the lower part of the stem. The variety is characterized by a high ability to produce root suckers.
Berries are light red, obtuse-conical in shape, with a mass of 2.2–3.0 g (individual ones up to 5 g). The flesh is firm, which ensures good transportability. The taste is sweet and sour; the composition includes 6.5–6.8% sugars and 38–44 mg% vitamin C. Berries ripen simultaneously.
The variety possesses high winter hardiness and relative resistance to fungal stem diseases. According to yield data, indicators in the 4–5th year can reach 125–145 c/ha. The intended use of the fruit is universal, including fresh consumption and processing.
