The variety is a shrub raspberry about 1.2 m tall with long, thin, and slightly prickly canes that are prone to lodging, which requires the use of supports. The plant is characterized by early fruiting and an extended harvest period, and is well-adapted to Finnish climatic conditions (zones I–V).

The berries have a bright red color and an irregular shape. They are smaller than those of typical garden varieties, but they retain firmness and possess a distinct taste and aroma. Cultivation on well-drained fertile soils is recommended; an excess of nitrogen fertilizers induces excessive green mass growth to the detriment of yield.
