The variety is a complex hybrid derived from crossing 'Aurora' and 'Comanche' varieties, involving forms of blackberry and boysenberry. The plant belongs to the trailing shrub type (dewberry). The flexible and strong shoots reach a length of 3 to 5 meters, have numerous sharp thorns, and moderate growth vigor.
Fruiting is early and prolonged, lasting up to 6–8 weeks. The berries are large, weighing 10–11 g (up to 17 g), black in color, and elongated-cylindrical in shape. The variety is characterized by high heat and drought tolerance; however, it has low winter hardiness (down to -16...-18°C) and requires cultivation on a trellis with mandatory covering of the shoots.
The berries are firm and suitable for fresh consumption, commercial supply, freezing, and processing. The variety shows moderate resistance to powdery mildew and gray mold of the fruit.
