ActiveRubus L. subg. Rubus · Blackberry
The Board of Trustees of University of Arkansas
10 August 2026
The variety is characterized as mid-season with a prolonged fruiting period lasting a month or more. Depending on climatic conditions, harvesting begins from mid-July to mid-August.
The bush is vigorous, with high growth energy and thornless semi-trailing canes. Since branches begin to bend towards the ground after reaching a height of 1.2–1.5 m, mandatory tying to a trellis is required.
Berries are elongated-oval in shape, weighing 12–15 g, sometimes up to 30 g. The flesh is firm, the taste is sweet with a sugar content of 10–12% and a slight acidity. The fruits are distinguished by high transportability and retain their marketability for up to 7 days under cool conditions.
