The variety belongs to the group of energy willows grown for biomass production. Studies have noted the plant's high resistance to diseases such as rust and leaf spot, as well as low susceptibility to pests, including the leaf beetle Phratora vulgatissima.

The average annual yield of dry biomass for the variety during the trial period was 11.3 tons per hectare. The variety is also a subject of research on the energy value of its wood.
