Scabiosa columbaria «Pink Lemonade» is a sport of the «Butterfly Blue» variety. The main morphological feature of the plant is variegation — the presence of a distinct yellow margin on the mid-green leaves.

The flowers have a mauve-blue hue typical of the parent variety. The plant reaches a compact size of about 25 cm in height and requires conditions with good soil drainage.
