The variety belongs to the group of population rye varieties. During the selection process, selection was carried out for straw shortening, as well as for improving ear and grain characteristics. Plants possess adaptability to various soil types, including low-productivity ones.
The grain is characterized by a high content of vitamin E (tocotrienols). The variety has a food purpose, is used in the baking and milling industries, as well as in the alcohol and brewing industries. Previously, the variety was also used as a cover crop.
