Juuso (official name Juuso-kevätruis) is a spring form of rye. Unlike winter varieties, this crop does not require overwintering, which eliminates the risks associated with adverse conditions during the winter period.

The primary purpose of the variety is cultivation as a grain crop for the production of bakery products. The variety possesses distinct baking qualities and taste characteristics.
