The variety is a population form of winter rye. In agronomic studies, the variety demonstrated a yield at the level of 4350 kg/ha and was often used as a standard sample when studying the growth dynamics of the root system and plant resistance to diseases.
In comparative trials under Estonian climatic conditions, the variety did not show significant differences in the degree of brown rust infection compared to a number of other studied varieties, including Akusti, Riihi and Anna. The variety is intended for cultivation in the conditions of northern agriculture.
