The winter rye variety «Khasto» is classified by type of origin as a synthetic variety. Two high-heterosis populations were used in its pedigree.
The variety was included in state trials as a high-yielding form. In scientific literature, it is mentioned among the varieties introduced into production and used as genetic material in breeding collections.
