The variety is a diploid (2x) spring type rye. It possesses strong anthocyanin coloration of the coleoptile and a medium heading date.

Due to its intensive development, the variety is used as a forage or catch (cover) crop. Suitable for sowing in summer months when emergency production of green mass is required.
