The variety is the result of breeding work aimed at obtaining raw materials for the production of hepatoprotectors. The crop is grown for the extraction of an extract used in the therapy of liver diseases.
A key feature of the variety is the biochemical composition of the flavonolignan complex, where the concentration of silydianin prevails over the content of silybin. In terms of maturity, the variety is classified as mid-late; the plant's flowers have a purple color.
