The Arwis variety is used in agrotechnical experiments to evaluate the antinematode effect, in particular for the control of the sugar beet nematode Heterodera schachtii.

The variety is considered in comparative studies of yield and the impact on the phytosanitary condition of the soil alongside other white mustard varieties. Detailed morphological characteristics of the plant are not presented in the scientific literature.
