The variety is late-maturing and possesses the ability to intensively accumulate vegetative mass. Its use allows for the improvement of soil structure, the suppression of weed development, and the prevention of nutrient leaching, which defines its status as a nitrogen-catching crop.

With significant development of the above-ground part, the plant stems can be susceptible to lodging. This variety is widely used in agriculture as a green manure crop due to its effectiveness for phytosanitary purposes.
