The variety is characterized by a high content of fatty oils in the seeds. In scientific publications, it is often mentioned as a model object for studies on the effect of toxins on seedlings, as well as material for studying seed processing technologies, including the inactivation of the enzyme myrosinase for flour production.

In studies of seed composition, the variety demonstrated variation in oil content and fatty acid composition, including erucic acid, depending on growing conditions and the year of cultivation. Detailed data on morphological traits or the variety's resistance to diseases and lodging are absent in the literature.
