The variety is intended for use as green manure. It demonstrates active green mass formation at the beginning of the growing season and has a moderate tendency to flower.

Regarding phytosanitary properties, the plant tissues upon decomposition are capable of inhibiting the spore germination of certain pathogens, including Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, which is attributed to the glucosinolate content in its composition.
