Dani is a compact evergreen shrub about 1 meter high with elliptical glossy leaves that have a fragrance when rubbed. The plant is characterized by a powerful root system and strong growth, forming sturdy inflorescences on long peduncles.
In autumn, the shrub forms large dense clusters of dark red or purple buds, which open into pale pink flowers in spring. The variety prefers shaded or semi-shaded areas, well-drained acidic or neutral soils, and is sensitive to waterlogging and high lime content.
