Mongal F1 is an early-maturing determinate hybrid; the period from transplanting to harvest is 60–65 days. The plant possesses strong vigor and high fruit setting ability.

The fruits have a rounded, slightly flattened shape and a bright red color at maturity; their average weight varies from 100 to 160 g. The variety is distinguished by high heat tolerance, is adapted to temperatures above 42–45 °C, and is suitable for year-round cultivation.

The hybrid possesses complex resistance to diseases, including bacterial wilt, tobacco mosaic virus, Fusarium, Stemphylium, and root-knot nematodes. The fruits are intended for fresh consumption and industrial processing into puree or paste.
