Darko F1 is an early-maturing eggplant hybrid with a semi-spreading medium-height plant. The stem is slightly pubescent, without anthocyanin coloration, leaves are green, medium-sized with a wavy margin.
Fruits have a cylindrical or club-shaped form, reaching a length of 20–22 cm and a mass of 150–260 g. The surface of the fruits is dark purple, highly glossy. The flesh is whitish, without bitterness, seeds are practically absent. The calyx of the fruit has no thorns.
The hybrid possesses resistance to the main diseases of eggplant. Intended for cultivation in open field and plastic greenhouses, the fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and processing, and are characterized by good transportability.
