The variety belongs to the semi-early eggplant group and possesses good growth vigor. It originates from Romania, where it has been a subject of study for many years at the ICDLF Vidra Research Institute for Vegetable and Flower Growing.
The plant was used in experiments on protection against pathogens and pests under field conditions, as well as in breeding work aimed at studying the resistance of genotypes to temperature and water stress.
