Variety description

The variety is a mid-early and vigorous plant with a strong stable stem reaching a height of up to 130 cm. The fruits have a club-shaped form, a dark purple color, and a green calyx; their length is 25–30 cm. The flesh is dense, tender, and aromatic.

This is an heirloom variety, not a hybrid, which allows for seed saving for future sowing. The plant is characterized by high yield, requires tying to a support, and is suitable for cultivation in greenhouses or well-protected from wind and cold locations in the open field.
