The fruits have an elongated-cylindrical, sometimes slightly curved shape with a length of 20–30 cm and a diameter of 3–6 cm with a weight of 130–500 g. The skin is glossy, deep purple in color; the flesh is milky-white or cream with a small amount of seeds.
