Plants of the variety have a shorter height compared to the standard Calwhite. Leaves are medium-sized, light green, with a high degree of anthocyanin coloration of the midrib; apical rosette is without pubescence.
Tubers are oval or short-oval in shape, covered with yellow skin on which weak anthocyanin coloration appears upon exposure to light. Flesh is cream, eyes are yellow and shallow. Sprouts have intense coloration at the base and weak at the tip.
The variety was selected taking into account general disease resistance; in particular, it was examined in scientific studies for resistance to Fusariumdry rot.
