The variety was obtained by crossing the Universa variety and a hybrid. The growing period is about 100 days. Tubers are uniform, oblong-oval in shape, with yellow skin and flesh, and eyes of medium depth.
The variety has high productivity, reaching 70 t/ha. It belongs to culinary type AB, the dry matter content is about 18%, and the flesh darkens insignificantly during cooking. It possesses high resistance to mechanical damage and good keeping quality.
The variety is resistant to potato cyst nematode (Globodera rostochiensis Ro1–4) and tolerant to viruses, including PVY and leaf roll. It shows good tolerance to common scab. Foliage sensitivity to late blight is noted under high infection pressure, while tubers have moderate resistance.
