The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties Laura and Bellini. The tubers have a uniform shape, shallow eyes, and smooth skin. Dry matter content is approximately 18.5%. The variety is characterized by a long dormancy period, which ensures good keeping quality.
The potato belongs to culinary type AB; the flesh does not darken when boiled and shows slight disintegration. The plant has good resistance to late blight of foliage and tubers, as well as to nematodes Ro1, Ro4 and potato wart. The variety shows moderate resistance to common scab and virus Y.
