The plant is of medium size with an upright growth habit and moderately thick stems. Emergence and foliage development early in the season are slower than in the Russet Burbank variety. Tubers have an oblong or elongated shape, white or cream flesh, and dark brown netted skin with shallow eyes.
The variety possesses resistance to potato virus X and tuber late blight. It exhibits moderate resistance to Verticillium wilt, common scab, and strains of potato virus Y. It is susceptible to Fusarium dry rot, bacterial ring rot, early blight, potato leafroll virus, and hollow heart.
High specific gravity and increased protein content make the variety suitable for French fry production. The tubers are less prone to growth cracks and secondary growth, and are also characterized by a low glucose concentration, which prevents darkening during storage.
