The variety was obtained by crossing Sirtéma × [(B F 15 × 835a4) × Depesche]. Tubers have small superficial eyes. In terms of dry matter content, it belongs to the category with a low or very low index; when preparing French fries, it shows a tendency towards flesh browning.
The variety is resistant to potato wart. Tubers have relative resistance to late blight, while the foliage is susceptible to this disease. The variety is susceptible to common scab, golden potato cyst nematode and a number of viral diseases, including viruses A, X and Y. The tendency to sprout during storage is medium.
In scientific literature, the variety is used as a model object in genetic engineering research aimed at studying adaptation to saline soils and resistance to PVY and PLRV viruses.
