The variety was obtained by crossing parent forms YP 98-3 and Satina. The plant forms an upright stem bush with rapid haulm development. Tubers have smooth or netted yellow skin with shallow eyes and light yellow flesh.
The vegetation period is 90–110 days. The variety shows very high resistance to late blight of leaves and tubers, potato virus Y, and potato cyst nematode. Resistance to scab is estimated as medium to high.
Culinary type is BC, which implies moderate disintegration, suitable for boiling, mashing, and baking. Tubers tolerate mechanical harvesting and transportation well, and are resistant to mechanical damage and post-boiling darkening.
