The variety was obtained by crossing 'Marabel' and breeding sample 'AR 93-1243'. Culinary type is predominantly firm (AB), suitable for boiling, frying, baking, and use in salads. The plant is vigorous, well-leafed, with white flowers and an average height of about 54 cm.

Tubers have small, shallow eyes and smooth yellow skin. Dry matter content is 16–19.7%. The variety is characterized by good keeping quality, resistance to secondary growth, black spot, and growth cracks, as well as to virus Yn and Y-virus.

Moderately resistant to Fusarium, common scab, and viruses X and Yntn. It is susceptible to late blight of leaves and tubers, powdery scab, and metribuzin.
