The variety belongs to the late-maturing potato group. The tubers have white flesh, and the plants are characterized by blue flowers during the vegetation period.
The variety was considered a reference for long-term winter storage. However, due to its susceptibility to modern strains of potato virus Y (PVY), it was displaced from mass production and is currently maintained exclusively in genetic collections in the form of tissue cultures and microtubers.
