Filipa potatoes belong to very early table varieties of type B. The tubers have a round-oval shape, smooth yellow skin, and shallow eyes; the flesh is also yellow. The variety demonstrates rapid haulm development in the initial vegetation period.
The variety possesses high resistance to potato cyst nematode (Ro1, Ro2/3, Ro5) and low susceptibility to scab, internal rust spot, and mechanical damage. Haulm health is rated as medium; regular protection against late blight is required. The variety is intended for medium and good soils with uniform irrigation and is capable of storage until the beginning of the calendar year.
