The plant is medium-sized with a semi-erect or semi-spreading habit. The tubers are round in shape, characterized by pale red, pink, or light purple skin, and medium-depth eyes. The flesh is white or light yellow in color with a floury, mealy texture.
The variety possesses historical resistance to potato wart and good resistance to common scab. At the same time, modern data indicate susceptibility to late blight and potato virus Y. There is confusion in literature with the variety «Sutton's Flourball», which had different skin characteristics.
