The variety was obtained by breeders of the Belgian center CRA-W as a result of crossing the Gasore and Impala varieties. It is positioned as a resistant (robust) variety intended to reduce the need for fungicidal treatment due to high resistance to late blight (Phytophthora infestans).
Potatoes of this variety have tender flesh and were developed as an alternative to traditional varieties susceptible to diseases. The variety is oriented toward the modern needs of the agricultural sector, in particular, for use in organic farming.
