The variety belongs to the late-maturing potato group. During its period of active use in Polish seed production, the variety was valued for its good taste qualities and was used for preparing traditional dishes, in particular kartacze, and was also partially used for fodder purposes.
The variety is characterized by ambiguous data regarding disease resistance: some studies note susceptibility to a number of viral diseases, while others note resistance to PVY virus. The variety was the subject of scientific research in the field of agronomy, including the study of the response to nitrogen fertilizers and the mechanical strength of tubers.
