The variety was obtained by crossing G97TT267003 and Blaue Schweden. The plant possesses high growth vigor, the tubers have a long uniform shape, medium size, and shallow eyes. The flesh maintains a uniform purple color after heat treatment.
The variety possesses high resistance to virus Y and its necrotic strain, complete resistance to golden potato cyst nematode, and moderate resistance to late blight and net scab. Resistance to potato wart is absent, and resistance to common scab is low.
The potato belongs to culinary type A-B with a dry matter content of 20–22%, which makes it suitable for chip production. The variety is distinguished by a long tuber dormancy period and high resistance to sprouting.
