The Golf variety was officially registered in German variety lists, where it was mentioned in connection with its resistance to the golden potato cyst nematode, types Ro1 and Ro4.
In 2013, this variety was removed from descriptive potato lists. Detailed morphological and agronomic characteristics, such as maturity group or taste qualities, are absent in the available official publications.
