The variety was obtained by crossing lines AR 01-3218 and ALMERA. The plant is characterized by rapid haulm development and white flowers. Tubers are elongated-oval in shape with smooth yellow skin and light yellow flesh, and are quite large in size.
The variety is resistant to golden nematode and potato wart, however, it shows sensitivity to common scab and powdery scab. The dry matter content is about 19.9%. When growing, the variety's sensitivity to metribuzin-based herbicides should be taken into account.
Tubers are moderately sensitive to mechanical damage and bruising, therefore they require care during harvesting. The variety is not suitable for crisp production, and its quality for French fries is rated as below average.
