Likaria potato variety belongs to the group of high-starch varieties. When boiled, the tubers acquire a dry and crumbly consistency, which makes them suitable for preparing mashed potatoes, dumplings, knedliks, fritters, soups, and stews.

The variety is mid-early. In terms of phytopathological resistance, it is characterized by immunity to potato wart (pathotype 1) and Globodera rostochiensis nematodes (pathotypes Ro1 and Ro4). Resistance to late blight, Potato virus Y, and Potato leafroll virus is assessed as medium or low.
