The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties Cecile and IVP 4X-038-1. The tubers are oval-shaped with smooth red skin; the eyes are shallow. The plant is characterized by moderate resistance to late blight and average resistance to viruses and scab.
The flesh is firm, waxy, retains its shape when boiled, and does not fall apart. The variety is versatile, suitable for preparing salads, boiling, steaming, as well as for making french fries or chips. The taste is complemented by a subtle nutty undertone.
